The Growth & Strategy team at Zilliqa seeks a Vice-President to help drive growth initiatives. You will be driving market infrastructure initiatives and work closely with the Head of Growth within the Growth & Strategy team.
About the role
An interest in blockchain technology and an analytical mind is important. You will be joining a diverse team of business and technology specialists working together to develop new blockchain solutions to help deliver the next generation technology platform with a focus on financial use cases.
As a VP at Zilliqa, you will be responsible for multiple workstreams, including, but not limited to, financial modeling, market research, and associated analytics. You will be responsible for increasing the liquidity of ZIL by forging strategic partnerships with exchanges and other on-ramp mechanisms to increase the value and price of ZIL. You are expected to be knowledgable about global and local regulatory aspects of cryptocurrency, and how it impacts Zilliqa and our go-to-market strategy.
You must be comfortable working across a range of engagements and tasks - conducting strategic analysis, consolidating and making sense of research materials, and publishing the research reports - to deliver the highest quality outcomes at pace.
Ideal Experience and Skills
4+ years experience in leading crypto/blockchain companies/startups, preferably experience with a cryptocurrency exchange, crypto fund and trading firm.
Distinctive problem solving, framing and communicating complex ideas, thinking strategically.
Ideally, some experience in venture creation, including work in due diligence, valuation, joint venture governance design, operating structures, negotiation, and term sheets.
Knowledge of and passion for cutting edge technologies/digital initiatives (blockchain knowledge) is preferred.
Strong understanding of crypto economics and how to improve value capture of crypto asset.
Experience leading and delivering multiple workstreams, including experience in business case development, financial modeling, due diligence, valuation, CEO-ready presentation design and story-lining.
